Now entering our 13th year, the Music Factory VA Rock Ensemble provides students the opportunity to apply what they have been learning in private lessons in a real band setting. Weekly onsite rehearsals are organized based on the student’s playing level and age. Our goal is to provide students a structured rehearsal where they learn valuable skills.

Benefits of Rock Ensemble
Rock ensemble will help you grow as a musician but also provides skills that last a lifetime
Band skills
Students will learn skills such as rhythm playing, lead playing, and stage presence, as well as interpersonal skills
Gear knowledge
Students will learn guitar amplification, pedals, PA equipment, synthesizers and recording.
Real stage experience
Students will perform a full concert performance at local offsite venues building stage presence and confidence.
Career Springboard
Many ensemble members have gone on to study music at the university level or professional careers.
Playing music with others gives students a voice, deepens their love for music and builds confidence that carries over into their lives in many ways.
